Hey Friends, today I'm sharing Sophie's First Birthday Party!
A couple of months ago Sophie had her first birthday party and It turned out so beautiful! I still can't believe she is already one year old, I have no idea where the time went. It honestly feels like just yesterday we were taking her home from the hospital and in the blink of an eye, we're celebrating her first birthday! It's an incredible thing to see her grow and change every day and to see her personality blossom and shine through more and more every day. I'm so thankful to be able to stay home with her and watch her experience so many things for the first time, it's really the greatest privilege and I feel so grateful every single day.
I wanted to create this post for you guys to give some inspiration if you want to host a little girls birthday party that's a similar style. You could even use the same ideas just tweak a few things for a any age birthday party, bachelorette party, or bridal shower. Most of the things we ended up getting for this party came from Amazon which is a huge plus. We had been so busy leading up to this party and at the same time were also packing for a trip to California that we left for only 2 days after her party. There was a lot going on, so it was so nice to get everything on prime 2 day shipping and not have to deal with wandering around the stores for hours to try and get it all together. If you want to just skip through the pictures you can scroll to the bottom of this page and that is where I have everything linked that we used to make this party come to life.
When I first started to plan this party I wanted to have a theme in mind or at least a color scheme. So we went with a Wild One party theme using blush pinks, whites, and touches of gold. We wanted to do a cute kind of garden, boho, pretty vibe not too much of the "wild one" printed items you can find online. We brought the theme together by using a really cute pink teepee at the entrance of our house that everyone placed gifts into as they came in. It was perfectly placed to use as a beautiful backdrop for when she opened her presents and also doubled as her own separate gift she can play in after her party was over. It was so much fun and really pretty easy to make it all come together nicely. If you guys end up using any of these ideas for your own parties be sure to tag @micah.juliet on instagram, I would love to see how these ideas help you out!

We got this really pretty gold glitter months garland HERE. We got all of the photos printed at Costco online for a great deal and they were ready for pickup the very next day. We also got extras printed and gave them to Sophie's grandparents as a little gift to take home with them.

I also got both of the Invitation and the thank you card templates from Etsy. I love how they turned out and we just had them printed at fedex on cardstock paper and cut them out on the paper cutters they have there. Super quick and easy and really affordable!
